 A Message from North Star Chief Executive Officer North Star Behavioral Health System is the largest private mental health system in Alaska. Our behavioral health system consists of an acute care Hospital in Anchorage and Residential Treatment Centers in Anchorage and Palmer. North Star is committed to providing easy access to a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for patients ages 4 through 17. We provide a continuum of care that includes crisis evaluation and stabilization, as well as treatment for children with a mental illness. Any young Alaskan in crisis is welcomed at North Star.
